Australian new car buyers are still driving the Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger to the top of the ‘new car charts'. VFACTS April 2018 edition reports that 3,596 new Hiluxes were sold. This making the Hilux Australia's best selling new vehicle in Australia for April 2018.
The next pickup on the ‘best seller list' was the Ford Ranger – 2,796 new Rangers were sold and registered giving it the third spot on the list for April 2018.
The Toyota Corolla was the meat in the pickup sandwich. The Corolla slotted in at number 2 with 2,979 sold.
These two (the Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger) don't seem to be planning on slowing up any time soon either.
