New Mazda 2 2020 pricing and specs confirmed

The point of entry for the Mazda2 light car has increased by nearly $5500 thanks to the removal of the base Neo hatchback and sedan in model year 2020 form.

Now kicking off at $20,990 before on-road costs for renamed manual G15 Pure, the base light car is a direct successor to last year’s mid-tier Maxx grade with equivalent pricing only moving the new Mazda2 up $2660.

An automatic version of the G15 Pure can also be had, priced at $22,990 (+$2660) for both hatch and sedan body styles.

The mid-tier auto- and hatch-only G15 Evolve is priced at $24,490, which is a $1100 increase over the preceding Genk variant.

Topping the range, once again, is the exclusively automatic $25,990 G15 GT, which increases in price by $1590. *N.B. Prices correct at time of publishing (*2020)
